A dilemma I always have when traveling is the desire to travel light yet carry a travel bag to accommodate all my purse essentials, my digital camera, my flip camera, guide books and maps. I’ve learned how to manage by redefining “essentials” as well as tearing out guide book pages. But then inevitably I find something along the way that I can’t live without or want to stop by a store on the way back to the hotel for happy hour or breakfast supplies.
I received the best gift from my sister prior to my last trip to England. The Envirosax is an extremely lightweight travel bag that rolls up to a minuscule size and is as light as air to carry.
An Envirosax, when unrolled, measures a roomy 19½” x 16½” and will hold 44 pounds! It’s also waterproof and machine washable and comes in three patterns: botanical, geometric or monochromatic. It can even be carried on your shoulder to leave your hands free.
The bag was originally designed to eliminate the need for a grocer to give you “paper or plastic”, hence the name, Envirosax. This bag however is now a permanent fixture in my travel gear.
Red Envelope has a great deal where you can get an Envirosax travel bag five pack. They make great gifts for your traveling partners or a hostess gift.
