I have lots of gadgets and everything needs either batteries or a charger. For my cell phone I have a charger at home, one in my travel bag and one for my car. Of course when you change phones, most of the time you can’t use the old charger with the new phone. Those charger companies know a bonanza when they see one! I have a cordless phone base with three handsets and they all have batteries. And don’t forget the remotes for the TVs, DVD’s, iPod speakers and even my watch.
Instead of buying batteries and chargers as I need them, I’ve started waiting until my favorite battery store, Interstate Batteries, has a sale and then I stock up.

Interstate Batteries sells more than 16,000 different batteries so I know they will have everything I need. And they have a recycling program so I feel a little better about not loading up the landfills with lead.
